Is and half too young for a cell phone?
My niece wants her own phone, the disney mobile, and she is adorable so I am inclined to purchase it for her, but is that just a waste at and a half. She will be in May and is very advanced for her age I could be biased though

Although your intention to spoil your niece is perfectly normal think about this. If you buy her a mobile at amp she will probably expect you her favourite aunt to buy her all the things her momdad wont or cant buy her. Maybe the computer at and the car at ? I spoiled l my kids too, but now that they are and I am paying for it not only with money but high expectations for every quotnewquot thing that comes out. Cant you just get her a play mobile? Who will pay the bill for the real mobile? No matter how advanced she is getting her the mobile at this age is a waste, who will she call? What if she loses it? or drops it in the toilet to see if it will still ring? have fun and enjoy your adorable niece.
